Information Management
These case studies illustrate how Doll Martin Associates have delivered information management benefit to organisations.
Transport -Information Management
Doll Martin Associates developed a federated, taxonomy-based Enterprise Architecture Framework for the Agency, to provide a corporate context for the current business area-based enterprise and other architectures, and to identify and document arrangements for the ongoing governance, benefits and management of the framework.
Transport - Information Management
Doll Martin Associates developed the initial Enterprise Classification Model as a component of the Agency’s Enterprise Architecture. The ECM used the Agency’s Conceptual Information Model as a starting point, reconciling existing local classification schemes and classification values, and ensuring consistent and coherent terminology and definitions for inclusion in the agency glossary of terms.
Emergency Services - Information Management
Define and agree an overall data model, classification model and data dictionary, to provide a standardised format for the collection and reporting of data on activities within national emergency service organisations. The project addressed data across the PPRR spectrum, rather than just the response data that characterised existing activity reporting systems. The project outcomes enable the consistent definition and categorisation of information across all national emergency services organisations and will improve the availability and comprehensiveness of data to better support policy development, planning and decision making for the emergency management sector across Australia.
