DMA Glossaries Terms used in planning and performance and in information management are often poorly defined or not defined at all. There are often multiple terms for what are the same or very similar concepts, coming from different disciplines and used in different ways in different contexts. Many terms have currency for short periods until they lose their marketing value or become discredited.
